Examination & Grading System

At Olive International College of Natural Medicine, we take academic assessment seriously, striving to maintain fairness and transparency in evaluating your progress.

Assessment Components

Our comprehensive evaluation system ensures a fair and thorough assessment of your academic performance

Attendance

10%

Regular attendance is a key element of successful learning. To encourage your commitment to the learning process, we consider your attendance, with a minimum requirement of 70%, as a component of your overall grade.

Assignments/ Presentations

10%

Your engagement with course materials and your ability to apply what you've learned are assessed through graded assignments. These assignments contribute to your final grade.

Tests

20%

Periodic tests are conducted to assess your understanding of course content. These tests help you gauge your progress and contribute to your overall grade.

Examinations

60%

The culmination of your academic efforts, examinations are weighted heavily, accounting for a significant portion of your final grade. Our examinations encompass various formats, including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), essay writing, and oral assessments.

Reassessment & Improvement

For students who may not achieve their desired grades, we offer opportunities for improvement. Paper resits are available within a month from the exam period, allowing you to address areas where you may not have performed as expected.

Overall Performance

At the end of each semester, your overall performance is assessed. Students achieving grades ranging from &quott;C&quott; to &quott;A&quott; will be promoted to the next semester. Those with &quott;D&quott; may repeat the semester or be promoted on probation.
