An esteemed member of our faculty, Babatunde Oluwafemi’s academic achievements and professional dedication in the field of biochemistry and holistic health practices make him a valuable asset to our team, inspiring our students and community members alike.

 

Babatunde started his academic journey with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti, Nigeria, where he graduated with First Class Honours, showing his exceptional understanding of the subject. Following this, he pursued a Master of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, further deepening his expertise in the dynamics of biochemistry concerning nutrition and health. 

 

As a Manager at WAFEM Global Consult in Akure, Ondo State, he demonstrated his leadership capabilities and keen insight into team dynamics and project management. Babatunde’s commitment to health was underscored during his internship at OLADAPO Medical Centre, Omitoro, Ikorodu, Lagos. Here, he worked alongside leading lab scientists, contributing to clinical diagnostic research that aims to enhance treatment methods for life-threatening disorders.

 

Babatunde is passionate about mentoring students on career paths and public speaking, a rarely emphasized yet crucial aspect of scientific research and healthcare promotion. His dedication to student welfare and professional development is commendable, and he firmly believes in nurturing the next generation of biochemists and health practitioners.   

 

Babatunde Oluwafemi’s forward-thinking approach to biochemistry, combined with his investment in holistic health practices, aligns strongly with OICNM’s ethos. His work emphasizes the bridge between scientific research and practical, integrative nutrition solutions to promote optimal health.
