Hajarat Motunrayo Muhammad, B.Sc.

Hajarat Motunrayo Muhammad is a dedicated lecturer in the Department of African and Chinese Medicine at the Open International College of Naturopathic Medicine (OICNM) in Lagos, Nigeria.

 

She holds a Professional Diploma in Natural Reproductive and Infertility Medicine (NARIM) from OICNM, where she was recognized as the Overall Best Student in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Microbiology from the University of Ilorin.

 

Prior to joining OICNM as a lecturer, Ms. Muhammad gained valuable practical experience as a Natural Health Practitioner at Lu’lunaturals Clinic in Ilorin. In this role, she conducted thorough assessments of clients’ health history and concerns, developed personalized treatment plans using natural remedies, and educated clients on the principles of natural medicine and sustainable lifestyle practices.

 

As a lecturer at OICNM, Mrs. Muhammad is responsible for teaching and leading course sessions, including lectures, discussions, and activities. She is skilled in developing course materials, providing guidance and support to students, and conducting virtual classes using technology. She also collaborates with other instructors to ensure consistency in course delivery.

 

Mrs. Muhammad’s teaching approach is informed by her passion for bridging the gap between traditional and modern healthcare practices. She is dedicated to empowering students with a deep understanding of the rich heritage and therapeutic benefits of African and Chinese medicine.

 

In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Mrs. Muhammad was recognized as the Best Female Alumna by OICNM in 2023, further testament to her commitment to excellence and her contributions to the field of naturopathic medicine.

 

Through her expertise, dedication, and student-centric approach, Mrs. Muhammad continues to make a significant impact on the education and training of the next generation of healthcare practitioners at OICNM.
